When you think of the perfect trail mountain bike, what comes to mind? For us, it's the Spark 960. Why, you ask? Well, beyond the fact that it is fast, lightweight and ultra capable on all sorts of terrain, it's just damned good lookin'. Short-travel bike? "Downcountry" rig? Occasional race bike? Whatever, call it what you want to call it. All we know is that this is one hell of a mountain bike.
With the Spark 960 , Scott has gone into full innovation mode. The damper integrated into the frame and the sleek cable routing on the handlebars not only make the bike an aesthetic eye-catcher, but also bring real advantages when riding. The unique design combines a low frame weight, best stiffness values and also offers space for two bottlecages in the frame. Of course, the Twin-Loc lever for locking the undercarriage is also standard on the new Spark. The trend towards more high speed stability geometries stops with Scott. Good! Because with this balanced handling model, you are equipped for all situations on the trail. The view of the geometry data clearly reveals: the Scott Trailbike has a sporty seating position.

TECHNOLOGIES:
ADJUSTABLE HEAD ANGLE
With the new Spark, you can adjust the head angle by .6 degrees slacker or steeper. This can be done without cutting cables or bleeding brakes. All you must do is disassemble the bar, rotate the headset cups 180 degrees, and reassemble.
EASY SHOCK ACCESS
Accessing the shock via the bottom bracket area is facilitated through a hatch. This makes it easy to adjust rebound, compression, shock pressure, and for installing or replacing the cable for our TwinLoc Suspension System.
PATENTED INTEGRATED SUSPENSION SYSTEM
An integrated shock platform allows us to refine suspension characteristics without sacrificing weight. Often, when working with bikes at this level, the concept of marginal gains becomes an ever important one.
For the optimal performance of a suspension shock, power transfer must be the most direct possible. What we want to avoid are any inefficient directional movements, in other words, lateral movements (sideways to the direction of travel) as the shock goes through its compression.
Having an integrated shock allows us to improve this in several ways. Firstly, the frame construction around the shock and with the trunnion mount can be designed to be much more rigid, reducing movement and fostering more efficient power transfer. We can also add much larger bearings to the seat tube pivot, further reinforcing this area and reducing any unnecessary motion. Our integrated Suspension technology also helps us to engineer frames with a lower shock placement which lowers center of gravity. As a result, the bike benefits from better handling, and a more stable, confidence-inspiring ride for the end user.
While these may seem like minor improvements individually, the sum of their parts results in more efficient shock performance. Additionally, the shock is fully protected from any foreign elements. Rainy race? No problem, your shock will continue to perform at its best regardless.
REAR AXLE TOOL
Our rear axle tool has been a staple on our bikes for years, it is now better than ever. It features a T25, T30, and a 6 Allen key all in one. With these three options, you can adjust all pivot hardware and nearly everything else there is to adjust on the bicycle.
SINGLE PIVOT SUSPENSION LAYOUT
A full-suspension bike will never have success without, well, good suspension design. From the first time we rode the Spark’s single pivot layout we fell in love. Years later, we still believe that for technical cross-country racing and fast, punchy singletrack it is the best approach. The Spark’s suspension layout has a very specific and proven kinematic and less unsprung mass. Using a flex pivot in the seat stay is an ideal solution for bikes in this travel range. This allows us to keep a very lightweight system while still ensuring optimal suspension performance.
TWINLOC SUSPENSION SYSTEM
With TwinLoc, a rider can effectively control the complete frame, fork, and shock as a system. Why does this matter? A bike with 150mm of suspension travel, correctly set up, has more sag than a bike with 130mm. It's that extra travel that makes it more fun to ride and more capable on the descents, but the greater sag has an oversized effect on the bike's geometry and climbing performance. That's where TwinLoc matters.
TwinLoc helps manage the sag effect in several ways. Whereas most systems only increase low-speed compression in an effort to gain pedaling efficiency, TwinLoc allows us to not only change compression damping, but also to change the spring curve, dynamically altering the geometry of the bike. In Trail mode, the shock is not only firmer, but it has dynamically less travel. The bike sits higher, maintains a steep seat angle for those climbs, and becomes more agile. We also offer a third, full lockout mode for going up in the most efficient manner possible.
These unique settings optimize climbing geometry, even on longer travel bikes. We can eliminate the "long travel effect" that can rob your pedaling efficiency, but we're not robbing you of the full-fun, 150mm travel when you point it downhill. From a race setting to a lunch ride, to an after-work trail shred, being able to switch from mode to mode depending on a trail's profile at the push of a lever is paramount to riding faster and having a damned good time.

The Rocky Mountain Instinct C30 is a trail bike for going everywhere and doing everything, the Instinct is a very versatile bike. The geometry is very well-rounded and adjustable to fit a wide variety of terrain and riding styles. Rocky Mountain uses Ride-9 adjustable geometry to offer nine different geo settings.
The Instinct is a very competent climber. It strikes a good balance between traction and efficiency. The rear suspension is a bit more active while pedaling, keeping the rear wheel on the ground. That does mean there is a bit of pedal bob, but I would argue it’s worth the gains in transaction and smoothness.
The more nimble geometry combined with the active suspension, make this bike an excellent technical climber. You’re able to dodge and weave through the rocks instead of having to go over the top of everything like you do on a bigger bike. The steering is responsive and allows you to easily pick your line through technical terrain. It’s going to shine on the climbs is on those big, backcountry days where you’re putting in a lot of miles and vert, but need a bit more capable bike for some tough descents.

MP2 SUSPENSION
Dual suspension platforms open up a whole new world of on-trail speed and control. Faultline combines our proven MP2 design, the suspension platform that's won us numerous industry accolades, and Bike of the Year awards, with 29" wheels and a smart spec. It's the perfect rig for the experienced hardtail rider looking to upgrade to a dual suspension bike, or for a new rider looking for a bit of a head start.
ASYMMETRICAL CHAINSTAYS
The Faultline's chainstays are asymmetrical, with an elevated straight stay on the non-drive side and a dropped curved stay on the drive side. The drive side must be dropped & curved to clear the chainring, but running the non-drive side straight from the dropout to BB pivot reduces weight while significantly stiffening the rear triangle laterally. This design also helps improve tire clearance.

If there’s one thing Tom knows, it’s dirt. When he first designed the Ultra he knew it would appeal to riders who demand specific ride characteristics and dirt slaying only he could deliver- and that was in the 1980s! Good design withstands the test of time, and the latest iteration of the Ultra is a prime example. Like its predecessor from 30 years prior, the new Ultra occupies a unique ride space from cross-country riders looking to get rowdy and go big to enduro riders lusting for some all-mountain shredding.
Designed around a 120mm travel fork and super stable Boost 148 spacing, most of the fun is in the wheels. Designed to accommodate 29" or 27.5" wheels, the Ultra is highly versatile. Throw on some 29s for some trail-smashing XC riding, or saddle up some 27.5+ for some serious no-holds-barred shredding. The Ultra is a rough and rugged trail master that doesn’t know when to quit.
- Compatible with 27.5 x 2.8 and 29 x 2.4 tires
- Internal routing for a dropper post
- Boost 148x12 rear spacing

The SCOTT Gambler 710 is a no-compromises DH weapon. This is the rig that SCOTT-Velosolutions riders Brendan Fairclough and Gaetan Vige rely on daily. With 27.5-inch wheels, a custom race tuned Kashima Coated FOX Suspension and World Cup podium-proven components, this bike was built for speed. Equipped with a low, slack geometry and a tweaked leverage ratio, the Gambler 710 will be able to handle everything in front of you. Following SCOTT's belief that for every track there is a correct tool, this bike was designed to be compatible with 26-inch wheels as well.
The frame uses super strong 6061 hydroformed, custom-butted aluminum and is one of the most adjustable downhill frames on the market. The headset is tuneable in 1- or 2-deg increments, with a range from 61- to 65-deg, so the ideal setup can be found for any racer on any track. The bottom bracket height is adjustable by 10mm to accommodate for rider preference as well as wheel size. There are two chainstay length settings – the longer, 440mm setup is ideal for high-speed tracks or for riders who like a planted rear end, while the shorter, 425mm setup gives the bike a lively feel and works better on tighter tracks. A keyed interface of the rear axle and dropouts prevents the rear ends of the bike coming loose after long days at the bike park and eliminates the need for pinch bolts on the rear axle. Additionally, the stiffer feeling rear end provides better and more consistent cornering traction over traditional axle designs.
A FOX 40 RC2 Factory fork with Kashima coating and 203mm of travel soaks up the roughest the trail can throw at you while you're charging downhill. A SRAM/Truvativ 8-speed drivetrain shifts fast for instant power, and Shimano hydraulic disc brakes offer no-nonsense performance so you can maintain the flow through steep, technical descents. The spec'd Syncros rims wrapped in Schwalbe 27.5 x 2.35 Magic Mary DH tires carve through loose dirt with tractor-like stability, and the adjustable height bottom bracket and chainstay length systems let you tailor your wheel size and wheelbase to specific trails for utmost control in every situation. The pot gets sweeter with gravity-proven cockpit components from Syncros and an E.thirteen LG1 chainguide so you can drop-in with confidence every time out.
