BODY GEOMETRY FIT

WHAT IS THE SPECIALIZED BG FIT SYSTEM?

To get an optimized riding experience on any terrain you will need to find your unique active riding position, which will help you climb faster, ride with less fatigue and descend more confidently. This can be achieved in conjunction with a trained Body Geometry Specialist who has a complete understanding of your individual biomechanics and experience. Body Geometry is the most complete system to help you become one with your bike.
To understand you and how you ride, a Body Geometry Specialist will ask about your goals and measure your physical capabilities and strengths. Next, he will adjust the bike to you and recommend solutions to improve comfort and enjoyment, while boosting performance an average of five percent.

1

RIDE PROFILE INTERVIEW

Every fit, whether it’s for a novice or experienced cyclist starts with a brief interview with our trained technician that addresses your needs, goals and injury history.

2

PHYSICAL ASSESSMENT

This is the key to the Body Geometry Fit process, allowing a Fit Specialist to develop an accurate picture of a rider’s flexibility and other physical attributes, so they’ll be able to make the proper adjustments to help you be one with your bike.

3

SIDE VIEW

Assessed from the side, the goal is to determine their unique active riding position that’s both powerful and comfortable through adjustments to seat height, handlebar position, stem length, and cleat placement.

4

FRONT VIEW

Unique to the Body Geometry Fit process, this frontal view analysis will optimize their hip, knee, and foot alignment for greater performance and balanced power delivery.

5

FOLLOW UP

After a week or so, the Fit Specialist will call to ensure the adjustments were effective and to answer any other questions or concerns they may have.

If the Shoe Fits

For maximum power transfer on the road or trail and for exceptional comfort on a spin bike, we recommend clipless cycling shoes and pedals. With stiffer soles and the ability to click into and out of your pedal system easily, cycling shoes make your ride and your workout more efficient, more effective, and more comfortable. Never get stuck in a toe cage again!
